COLUMBUS— State Representative and candidate for Auditor of State, Keith Faber, was honored by the Jewish Federation of Columbus at their Twelve Torches Ceremony for his commitment to the Columbus Jewish Community and the State of Israel.
“To be recognized on such a special day for the Jewish community with these 11 other incredible advocates, I am deeply honored. I am proud to have so many friends in the Jewish community and look forward to continue working together.”
The ceremony was part of their 2018 Israel @ 70 celebration where they honored 12 individuals for their support of the Jewish community and celebrated Israel’s 70th birthday. Faber has been a long time advocate for Israel and the Jewish community. He has sponsored a Concurrent Resolution to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, opposed legislation asking for boycotts of Israel, and secured $7 million dollars in grant money for nonprofits to upgrade and secure their facilities.
